from the north of the country, support them with skilled staff, and through their eight branches, to solve all their problems by specialized logistic, beating great distances, bad roads, and the country’s own adversity.
Today, in the moment of it’s consolidation as one of the regions most important enterprise, we can’t stop remembering our beginning. Nothing would have been possible without the support of AGROAVANCE S.A. that contributed it’s know how, experience, market position and the capacity of work from it’s group of professionals, headed by the engineer Jorge Posse, it’s president, and also a fundamental part of this enterprise.
AGRO LAJITAS S.A is composed by the agriculture experts Gonzalo Costal and Julio Pedraza; Ana Terán Vega de Posse and the directorial president, the certified public accountant Gerardo Anadón. Initially starting it’s activity as a distributor of Dow Agrosciences products, and Atanor S.A. later included Magan , Nova, Compo, Gleba, Syngenta, Triavet, Quimical, among others. They are one of the mains international laboratories.
Our goal was, and still is reaching a state of improvement of the quality that offers the agricultural producer the enough trust for them to lean on our enterprise in all. The request that is why we are in the final laps in the certification of norms ISO 9000 and 9001 that’s why we have engaged Auren International studio. Our staff is qualified to carry out this norms and answer our clients expectations, making possible our slogan, ALWAYS THINKING IN YOUR FIELD.
That is why, we are proud of being able to affirm that we commercialize products and present technical backup to all the regions agricultural productions. Soya, bean, avocado pears olives, walnut trees, greens, strawberries, corn, citrus fruits, sugar-cane, blueberry and tobacco. Our branch offices strategically located in the districts of Pichanal, Las Lajitas, Metan and Rosario de la Frontera in the province of Salta; the ones in Fernadez and Quimilí in Santiago del Estero, one in Catamarca and in the province of Tucuman in the city of Juan Bautista Alberdi, and of course our head office in the city of Alderetes, also in Tucuman, that’s speak for themselves about the evolution of our enterprise and also of the reception we have in the agricultural sector. Our head office located in number ten of Alfredo Guzmán Avenue, in the city of Alderetes, a few miles away of San Miguel de Tucuman has spacious and comfortable offices for attending enterprises, clients and suppliers, and with 2000 squared meters of deposits, all of them under the modern health and security norms.
AGRO LAJITAS S.A. sown a very big surface of Soya, corn and bean every year, which helps as prove the effectiveness and quality of the products we commercialize. Now a day we also produce great quality of strawberries, and at the ending of this year we will have our own first production of blueberries.
AGRO LAJITAS S.A. also produces packs, processes and freeze strawberries during all year, through their subsidiary El Manzano Comecializadora S.R.L.. Their plantations are situated in the low part of the hills and the valleys that are at the high of the province of Tucuman. The main region of production is located at the low part of Aconquija’s mountain range, where the most required variety world wide is cultivated, this one is the Camarosa type ( from July to December), distinguished by their excellent colour and firmness. And for closing the production cycle neutral day varieties are cultivate (seascape) at the high of 2200 meters at the Calchaquies Valleys (from October to July). In both cases all stages of the productive process, from the production and the harvest of fruits to the packaging on processing made in their modern plant under the most modern quality, security and hygiene (GMP, HACCP and the kosher certification). By this way we obtain the complete frozen individual strawberry (IQF), complete frozen in blocks(I); cut in cubes frozen in blocks (I), cut in slices frozen in blocks (this last 3 with or without the addition of sugar) and finally the fresh strawberry.
